Don does find his share of good ones. However, I’m not yet convinced that Newt can’t get the nomination.

We’ll see frank! He has legions of enemies in DC from the last time.

Lawrence O’Donnell’s epic destruction of Newt yesterday is a must see.

Watched it. I especially liked the reminder about the $300K he was fined by Congress.

I hate to agree with you folks on anything at all, but I do not see any way Gingrich wins the nomination . When he did that little love thing with the witch of the west, Nancy Pelosi, that destroyed his chances of winning. That he is where he is, shows the problems the rest of the field are having . I am very disappointed that Herman Cain has self destructed .

Yeah, that Pelosi interview is the only skeleton in his closet. Otherweise pure as the driven snow . .

Newt forced Clinton to capitulate and negotiate; we got a balanced budget.
He’s the smartest and most capable of the Republicans. Mitt has the private sector experience, and Newt has the chops.
Either way, Newt/Mitt or Mitt/Newt, I’m confident going into the election.

Meh.
Unless you are the Chosen One, this always happens to first time candidates.

Newt won’t get there. He’ll blow himself up – “forced Clinton to capitulate” – no he didn’t. They compromised, which is how it’s done. Shortly thereafter the House Ethics Committee fined him $300K and his party forced him out of the speakership. I’ve said elsewhere, Newt has legions of enemies in Washington and in the party.

The lips! I hadn’t noticed that – but yes.
And this sideshow is nicely planned right up till the Holidays – two or three more weeks before collapse now.
Then,
it will become full detachment and denial mode – with return of the write-ins and Palin and Trump.
Anything for ratings!!

Well, he WILL sell more books . . . (I always saw this as a self promotion tour on the donor’s dime anyway)
