Hi brat! I do get you’re not thrilled that we’re going and to an extent – though not completely – I’m there with you. But I still liked the speech – I liked the ‘hey,, folks, face up to your own responsiblities here” part.

Brat, my head hurts from how much it’s been whipping one way and then the other about this particular ‘incursion’. It’s certainly not a Bush invasion – may he rot in hell for that – but it’s not nothing either. I’m so back and forth on it that I could probably make a very strong and very credible case either way. Which is why my head hurts.

Bullocks. The UN was violating international law by refusing to enforce the sixteen resolutions already in place against Hussein. The US was still at war with Iraq, but we ceased hostilities based on UN Resolutions 687 and 689. Since Hussein violated those Resolutions, we had every right to resume hostilities.

Oh mac (and james and E et al), I’m right where I’ve always been and quite well. I guess I just wearied a bit, plus I let myself get involved in a few volunteer projects that are quite consuming. But I do miss this blog community and all of my (our) blog friends.
I was already thinking that this summer I might dip my toe back into the water here. And start poking around everyone else’s places too.

By the way, do you remember we were among each others’ very first blog friends? Right back to your ‘mac and couch’ days.
