  1. Absolute classic. It was a bit odd to watch a supposedly “objective” reporter try to push God on this woman. Wolf Blitzer is obviously used to reading a tel-prompter.

    • Hey DUH’, my read is he is a fool and thought “well, this is middle ‘Merica and they’re all rabid Christians so I’ll be kewl and act like I know all about that stuff” (and thanks again for the reblog)

This is an absolute classic. I applaud this woman for not being afraid to tell Wolf that she is an atheist and didn’t thank the lord for living. Hey Wolf, how about being a reporter and not trying to push a lady to say she thanks the lord. I’m not sure what the lord has to do with a tornado.

  3. I didn’t play the video. Just looking at the 2 of them laughing in front of that devastation…words fail.

    • Woodstock, that was an embarrassed laugh after he asked if she was ‘thanking the lord’ and she said she was an atheist. Delicious moment.

  5. In Wolf’s defence, he may have just been talking that way in order to “do as the Romans do”. He knows the people of Oklahoma are very religious, so maybe he was trying to fit in. I don’t usually hear the people on CNN mention the Lord very much 😉

    • I think you’re exactly right brat -and what an idiotic thing for him to assume and ‘play to’. Stupid man. He makes my teeth hurt.

  7. God must love atheists too, otherwise, why would he have spared her? Why? Oh, I just thought of a possible reason: maybe the tornado was aimed at gay people and those who tolerate them. No, wait. That can’t be it – this is Oklahoma for God’s sake. Oh boy, now I’m really confused.
