Sarah is hustling to rake in those last dollars before she fades entirely into obscurity. And how better than a book declaring her committment to stopping those who have declared the ‘War on Christmas’.
Now, those who declared that War were just down the hall from Sara in the Fox News Channel marketing department . Perhaps she didn’t know that. But as she’s recently been fired, I’m going to guess that they thought it prudent to stop her before she came through on her “committment to stop” them.
From her big announcement:
Palin also “will share personal memories and traditions from her own Christmases and illustrate the reasons why the celebration of Jesus Christ’s nativity is the centerpiece of her faith.”
Maybe. But that’s not the centerpiece of Christianity.
ANYTHING to get some media attention!

I’m not a bleeber, but I’m pretty sure the “centerpiece of Christianity” is the martyrdom of Jesus. That whole dying for the sins of others bit seems a tad more essential than a birthday party/regifting festival.

But that’s such downer desertscope! Sarah can’t sell books that way!

“War on Christmas?” OMG! Christmas started last year right after Halloween, for god’s sake, including the maddening and incessant Christmas music. I was in danger of permanent ear-worms! This year I won’t be surprised if it starts right after the 4th of July.
Stop, stop, stop, stop, please, stop with the rum, pa, pum, pum, rum. Stop.

Jim, our retail overlords have determined that there must always be a holiday display to push the product, which is why Valentine’s Day is generally on the shelves by Dec. 26, right next to the talking Christmas cards that didn’t sell too well.
I hear these FOX people and their rhetoric . . . they didn’t notice I guess that Christ was taken out of Christmas pretty much the day Santa was invented. It wasn’t we filthy atheists – it was the business establishment that done it!

I’m sure Sarah’s personal anecdotes about how she celebrates Christmas will totally stop all those non-Christians and their anti-Christmas War 😉
