Step aside Michelle Bachmann, there’s a new piece of low hanging fruit in town.
It seems Obama recently said “Up at Camp David, we do skeet shooting all the time,” when he was asked if he’d ever fired a gun.
Oh yeah? A statement like that calls for serious congressional attention because it’s an important matter and we can’t just take the word of the President of the United States. Because it’s too important.
Meet Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn:
“If he is a skeet shooter, why have we not heard of this? Why have we not seen photos? Why hasn’t he referenced this at any point in time?” Blackburn said Monday on CNN’s “Erin Burnett OutFront.”
You can have wealth concentrated in the hands of a few, or democracy. But you cannot have both.

Yeah, that was lame…but so was Obama’s attempt to soften his anti-gun image.
If I’d been there I would have simply asked him if he ever planned on inviting Cheney to go along. 😆

Nah jonolan, Cheney wouldn’t have come, he likes him some live targets all conveniently fenced in so they can’t escape (and I don’t mean his unfortunate companion that day!).

The reason you haven’t heard of it before, MB, is that while the president enjoys skeet shooting as an occasional pastime, he doesn’t obsess over it. Not like, for example, Mitt Romney obsesses over money. (“$10,000 dollar bet?” “I love Cadillacs – in fact my wife drives two of them!”)
