Ezra Klein haz da stuff!

So young, so smart

Klein, an early star of the blogsphere, now blogs at The Washington Post on ‘Economic and Domestic Policy – and lots of it!’. His blog, Wonkbook, is a daily  link-rich heads up on what’s happening in DC. I highly recommend subscribing.

By the way, I found The Washington Post website annoyingly difficult to navigate. The link from the daily email failed and at the site itself, finding Klein’s column wasn’t easy. Even the search function was a little wobbly.

  1. As I recall, he had a lot of good info on the Wisconsin “budget repair bill”.

  2. Good tip! I’m adding him to my rss’s right now.

And I’m finally getting the hang of Google Reader – it’s a great tool. Like setting up and tailoring your own realclearpolitics or memeorandum.
And mixing in some personal blogs and photography feeds for fun and mental health breaks.

    • When you add him to your RSS, do you do that from his site by clicking that ‘follow on rss’ or whatever. I’ve been a bit intimidated.

I need to set up my own google reader too – as soon as I find the time!

  3. You just go to your reader – http://www.google.com/reader/view/, press “a” or click “add a subscription”, and then paste in the address of the feed. Ezra haz http://feeds.washingtonpost.com/rss/rss_ezra-klein

    Others are like
    Josh Marsahll blog: http://feeds.feedburner.com/talking-points-memo
    Weiner Youtube clips: http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/base/users/askanthonyweiner/uploads
    Memeorandum: http://www.memeorandum.com/index.xml
    Foreign Policy Flash: http://www.foreignpolicy.com/issue/flash_points.php

    ..and so on.

But, I needed three attempts before rss became a good friend. First too complex, then too noisy, now it works perfectly fine.

    Good luck!
